A beautiful new Dipping Deck has been created and offers superb opportunities for pond dipping.

Dipping your net or jar into the water is the best way to spot pond creatures.

Bring along a container and a magnifying glass too.

Sitting safely behind the bars, pop your net or jar through and into the water. Sweep through the water gently as you do. Try to scoop creatures from below the water as well as on the surface.

Empty it carefully into your container and let the discovery begin!

Return the creatures and the water back to the pond carefully.
